Founded in February 1998, the purpose of the Behavior Therapist Association (BTA) is to promote and support the quality of mental health services provided to persons with Developmental Disabilities in New Mexico.  This can include advocacy, lobbying, networking, education, and promotion of ethical practice. 

The emphasis of the organization is on Behavioral Support Consultation services for persons receiving services through the New Mexico Developmental Disabilities Waiver, Medically Fragile Waiver and Mi Via Waiver. 

Membership:  Our Membership Page describes the benefits you receive when you join.  Members can post their services in our directory of  providers and attend workshops that offer CEU's as well as attend opportunities for networking with other providers.
