Non-members are encouraged to come to our workshops, be part of our mailing list and participate in our networking opportunities and member meetings.
All our board members and others who help us out throughout the year are volunteers. We could use any help you are interested in offering. Please take some time to consider membership again and help out in other ways if you can.
You will have opportunities for networking with your BSC colleagues including opportunities to get together outside of work. The BTA Board of Directors and others from the membership will continue to advocate for our profession and pass along information from and to members to keep BSCs informed. Networking meetings provide an opportunity for providers to meet and discuss concerns related to the New Mexico Developmental Disabilities Waiver (DDW), Mi Via Waiver, Supports Waiver and the Medically Fragile Waiver for the practice of Behavioral Support Consultation . We also provide information on potential changes to standards of practice.
